Monad Terrace is a newer, high-end waterfront condo in Miami Beach that feels very modern and very private. Completed in 2021, this 14-story, all-glass building sits right on Biscayne Bay, so most homes look out to the water and the Miami skyline. It was developed by JDS Development Group and designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, which is a big reason it has such a distinctive look.
There are only 59 residences, so it’s much quieter than most South Beach buildings. Homes come in two-, three-, and five-bedroom layouts, with interior sizes ranging from about 1,453 to 3,996 sq ft, plus large terraces. The terraces are a big part of the lifestyle here—many are oversized, and some penthouses even have rooftop outdoor spaces with pools and lounge areas.
Inside the residences, everything is designed to feel sleek but warm. You’ll see 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, and custom wood flooring throughout. Many units have private or semi-private elevator access, and the entry finishes are dramatic, with dark marble and mirrored details. Kitchens are built for people who care about design, with integrated Gaggenau appliances, a large marble island, a wine cooler, and custom touches like wood ceilings and marble floors. Bathrooms feel spa-like, with freestanding soaking tubs, steam showers, and high-end fixtures.
Amenities at Monad Terrace are built around the waterfront setting. Residents have a beautiful arrival experience with landscaped grounds, a central lagoon-style water feature, and a bayfront sun deck with a long 116-foot pool and hot tub. There’s also a café/juice bar, residents’ lounge, fitness and wellness center, valet and security, plus extras like bicycles and paddleboards for residents to use and storage for water-sport gear.
Overall, Monad Terrace is ideal if you want a newer, design-forward building with privacy, huge outdoor space, and a true waterfront resort feel—without being in a massive high-rise crowd.
