Bentley Bay South is one of the most recognizable buildings at the entrance to South Beach. Built in 2004, it’s made up of two curved glass towers (North and South) that look a bit like sleek yachts facing the bay. With about 25 stories and roughly 170 residences, it’s often called the “gateway” between downtown Miami and South Beach, especially because it sits close to the water and near the action on Fifth Street.
The towers were designed by Arquitectonica and developed by Ricardo Olivieri, with interiors and common areas styled by Italian designer Armando Albeidas. The arrival feels upscale right away, thanks to a dramatic three-story atrium lobby and a grand entrance with a porte-cochère and waterfall feature.
Inside the residences, the style is modern and bright. Homes range from one to five bedrooms (depending on the unit) and feature 9-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and large private terraces that make the views the main attraction. Kitchens are finished with European cabinetry, marble countertops, and stainless-steel appliances, while primary bathrooms often include marble finishes, soaking tubs, and glass-enclosed showers. Many units look out over Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic, and the Miami skyline, which is especially stunning at sunset.
Amenities at Bentley Bay are very much resort-style. Residents enjoy an expansive sun deck with an infinity-edge pool and two Jacuzzis, plus a lush garden terrace. There’s also a high-tech fitness center with a steam room, sauna, and spa, along with 24-hour concierge, 24-hour security, and 24-hour valet parking. Assigned covered parking is included as well.
Location is another big win. Bentley Bay is within walking distance of the Miami Beach Marina, South Pointe Park, and popular South Beach dining, shopping, and nightlife—from Lincoln Road to Ocean Drive. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want striking architecture, strong amenities, and waterfront views right at the heart of the South Beach lifestyle.
