(2)Flamingo South Beach is a bayfront condo tower in South Beach that feels like its own little resort community. It’s the south tower of the larger Flamingo Point development, sitting right on the water with wide views across Biscayne Bay. The building is 15 stories tall and was originally built in 1960 as apartments, then converted into condominiums in 2010.
There are 562 residences here, with a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. Units range from smaller, easy-to-manage spaces to larger homes, and many have private balconies with big bay or city views (studios may not include a balcony). Most homes come with hurricane-impact windows, central A/C, and practical everyday features like washer/dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. Flooring is usually a mix of tile, hardwood, or marble in the bathrooms, and many units include walk-in closets, which is a nice bonus in South Beach.
The lifestyle is what really sells Flamingo. The community sits on a large site with a long bay walk where people jog, walk dogs, or just catch the sunset. Amenities are set up like a resort: two pools, poolside cabanas with food and drink service, an outdoor whirlpool, and social spaces like a media/lounge area, billiards, and even a poker room. Fitness is a big part of the setup too, with access to a large gym and classes like yoga, spinning, pilates, and kickboxing. There are also sports areas including a full basketball court and beach volleyball, plus dog parks since the building is pet-friendly.
With 24-hour doorman/concierge, covered parking, and a waterfront location close to everything South Beach offers, Flamingo South Beach is a great fit for anyone who wants that energetic Miami lifestyle—right on the bay, with amenities you’ll actually use.
